    Hi all! Can you tell me what kinds of software you use for crime analysis?

      Hi Pamela,
      At Leon County Sheriff’s Office (for instance), we use CrimeView Desktop and CrimeView Dashboard installed on an ArcGIS ArcMap platform. We will be moving to ArcPro eventually. We have also purchased a software called Crime Disruptor that does a lot of “predictive” analysis (but we haven’t started using it yet). I know some other agencies use a program called CrimeStat, but almost all agencies I have talked to use either ArcGIS or QGis for their mapping platforms.       We use ArcGIS for our mapping through our RMS system which currently is OneSolution. Not sure if we’re going to change anytime soon or if they are looking for something different that will be NIBRS compliant.
