Michelle Wentz

I am currently employed at the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office as a Senior Crime and Intelligence Analyst as of April 2025. I was a Crime and Intelligence Analyst III assigned to District 2 at the Port Saint Lucie, FL Police Department where I have been employed for over 12 years. I was originally recruited under a grant for Offender-based Hot Spot Policing. I was previously employed as a Crime Intelligence Analyst under contract for the Palm Beach Regional Fusion Center with the focused task of following regional criminal activity for briefings at the Mutual Aid Consortium in Palm Beach county and facial recognition processing for local agencies. I also served five years working for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in the Fort Pierce Field Office providing support to the special agents in their RICO cases for gang members, financial crimes, and multi-jurisdictional gang/narcotic cases. I have a Master of Science Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics from St. Joseph’s University and I am also a Florida Certified Law Enforcement Analyst. I am a Florida Native from Fort Pierce, Florida and I have been married for over 30 years to a law enforcement officer at our county agency and have 2 adult children and 2 grandbabies.
