I am a highly educated and accomplished professional with a diverse background in administration, crime analysis, regional and urban development, and public security. My academic journey includes a Post-Doctorate in Administration, a Ph.D. in Regional and Urban Development, a master’s degree in Regional Analysis, and bachelor’s degrees in administration and mathematics. Additionally, I have completed specialized post-graduation courses in Quantitative Methods, Higher Education Institution Management, and Public Safety.

My research and expertise primarily revolve around crime analysis, with a focus on theory and practice. In my final research for the post-Doctorate degree at the Federal University of Bahia, I explored Crime Analysis from theoretical and practical perspectives. My Ph.D. thesis at the University of Salvador delved into the topic of crime in central cities in Bahia. At the same time, my master’s dissertation investigated the intersections between urban development, socioeconomic factors, and crime transformations in Salvador. Beyond academia, I possess practical experience in the field of public security, having completed the Bahia Military Police Officers Course at the Military Police Academy in Salvador for three years. This training equipped me with valuable knowledge and skills relevant to maintaining public safety. Additionally, I have enriched my skill set through specialized post-graduation courses. These include a course in Quantitative Methods from the University of Brasilia, focusing on statistical analysis and data interpretation. I also completed courses in Higher Education Institution Management and Public Safety, which have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of managing educational institutions and ensuring public safety. With my extensive educational background and research experience, I bring a unique perspective and expertise in administration, crime analysis, regional and urban development, and public security. I am well-equipped to contribute to diverse projects, apply analytical approaches, and provide valuable insights in these areas.

I have strong experience in crime analysis and Public Security Management. Also, I worked for more than twenty-five years as a professor in the disciplines of Project Management, Scientific Research Methodology, Quantitative Methods, mathematics, and crime analysis in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate courses emphasizing public security management. In addition to the field of public security, I have experience in coordinating undergraduate and graduate courses. In the educational area, I have experience in educational assessment, educational planning, and scientific research, working mainly on the following subjects: management of a higher education institution, public policies on public security, crime control, integrated management of public security, and crime analysis.
