| Personal Bio | Hi all. Happy to be here and interacting with all of you. My background is in Law Enforcement. I did an internship with the Winter Garden Police Department when a student at Valencia before going off to FSU for a Criminology degree. I received my Florida Law Enforcement certification from then Lively Law Enforcement Academy (now Pat Thomas LEA). From there I got a job with the Police Department in Thomasville GA where I served 10 years. During my time with the TPD north of the border I served patrol, bike, SRO, Community Relations, DARE, and the always present catch all other duties as assigned. I am still with the City of Thomasville but now work in the City’s GIS program where I get to continue the relationship with the police department by working with them in implementing GIS as a tool for law enforcement. In my spare time I love spending time with the family, kayaking, mt biking and hiking. Let me know your favorite place to mt bike/kayak/ or hike in FL and I will check it out. |
