Ethics Committee
This is FCIAA's fact-finding body, tasked with investigating grievances against members and Executive Board members of the Association, and to make recommendations for sanctions as authorized in Article IV, Section 6. Membership Committee
This committee assists the Vice President of Membership in the performance of his/her duties and responsibilities. This may include assisting in gathering and tracking annual dues payments, verifying membership, etc. For specific information on how the Membership Committee functions and what powers they hold, please visit the Bylaws Page.
Training & Conference Committee
This committee is tasked with one of the most crucial functions of FCIAA -- to continually raise professional development standards by providing outstanding training sessions to benefit the Association's members. Additionally, this committee is the primary body responsible for planning and organizing the annual conference. Communications Committee
This committee's main function is to assist the FCIAA Secretary with his/her duties. Typical duties include management of the Association's social media platforms, generating advertisements to promote the association, and ensuring members and prospective members stay up-to-date on Association-related matters. Certification Committee
This committee is tasked with developing and implementing the curricula for FCIAA's Crime Pattern Analysis Certification Program, to include the Fundamentalist, Specialist, and Professional courses. This committee is further responsible for maintaining training and certification records for both members and non-members who have taken one or more courses, are working toward Crime Pattern Analysis Professional (CPAP) Certification, and/or those who have already become certified. Technology Committee
This committee is tasked with maintaining the website and all technological assets and functions of the Association. This includes updating and maintenance of the ShareServ listservice, mobile application for conference/training events, etc. Additional duties may include building and maintaining dashboards and visuals for a variety of information, including but not limited to membership stats and committee/event income and expenses.
